Darryn- thanks for the compliments. Yes, I agree on the ads. I don't know whether its worth setting up, but I figure that its worth looking in to, if only to cover the costs of hosting the site- but if it meant going to flashing banners, etc rest assured that I wouldn't do it.
The Monaco LE is interesting- personally, I like the watch, but not at the RRP- will be interesting to see what prices these sell for when they hit the used market- don't think I've seen one yet.
Your Super Pro is a great find- very, very rare and in almost perfect condition.
Good luck for 2010!

David, nice review of the year.
Honestly, one of the highlights of the year in terms of things Heuer/Tag Heuer was this website. Depending on what you want from the site in the future , but personally I would hate to see the clean look of the site cluttered up with flashing adverts. Whatever happens though, I am sure the content will still remain very informative and worth a daily visit.
A watch this year which didn't live up to my expectations was the 1000 pce LE Steve McQueen Monaco. Beautiful watch , but didn't generate as much interest within the Tag community as I thought. And didn't sell as fast as I thought it would. If anyone is interested, there is still one sitting in the Window at my local AD!
The watch which surpassed my expectations was the 500m Cal 5 Aquaracer. Bought one myself and the chatter on the forums was what a great piece this is.
Highlight for me personally this year was finding an unworn PVD Super Pro to ad to my collection. My number 1 target this year is an Auto black face Heuer Pilot. If you know of any going, let me know. Would love to see you do a review of these Pilots some time David, as only you can.
Again ,Keep up the great work you are doing here and good luck to you all on what you want to achieve in 2010.

Wilfreb, yes I like the Aquaracer- to me its the equivalent of an Omega Seamaster. But Omega also have the Planet Ocean and the new Proplof- lets replace the rubberized bezel with a ceramic, maybe increase the size and fit a Calibre 36- or even a Calibre 360- movement.
Thanks Johan- hope to catch up with you soon

Thanks Jan- good news on the LCD/ LCD- maybe they're not as fragile as I'd feared.
Kyle- feel bad that I forgot to mention Perpetuelle as one of the great websites/ blogs I'd discovered through Twitter- you guys are putting together something quite unique, so I certainly recommend that everyone take a look: http://blog.perpetuelle.com/
I should also have mentioned http://thewatchlounge.com/ and http://www.fratellowatches.com/

Hi David.
Your blog is becoming one of my favourites. Keep up the good work.
By the way: The Chronosplit LCD/LCD is still alive and working.Seems like it is wearable on a daily basis.
Greetings from Denmark, Jan

Cool round-up. You inspired me to do the same over on The Prodigal Guide. Look out for that at midnight on Thursday.
Keep up the great work in 2010. You've got a great blog here.
All the best for the New Year.
