Again an excellent story about calibre 1887, thanx for that. Also thanx to mr. Babin for his swift and open response. This is the perfect example of what web 2.0 can change in the customer-retailer relation.

Thanks for the clarification Jean-Christophe and look forward to seeing the watch that you'll release to showcase the new movement.
Merry Christmas to you and everyone at TAG Heuer and good luck for 2010- TAG Heuer's 150th anniversary.

So I hope everything is clear to everyone. And yes, I confess the statement "100% in-house" was a bit exaggerated even though much is indeed done in house from technical plans, to prototypes, key parts (plate, bridges, jewels settings, assembling, oiling etc...)....probably more than many Companies making bolder statements but perhaps less scrutinized than TAG Heuer which provocative and daring style often exposes to critics more than any other Brand. Remember the V4 Concept in 2004 and all the skepticism around to say worst. We're in Dec 2009 and 85 of the 150 of the "150 anniverary" Edition have been delivered....but believe it or not, 10 days ago, a CEO of a great Manufacture I won't mention just told me it was just impossible......which is negating the realty....That's swiss watchmaking with its sacred cows and jealousies....Merry Christmas.
