More than two years after TAG Heuer announced its partnership with the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (“FIM”- the governing body of International Motorcycling racing), the union has produced its first watch- the TAG Heuer Formula 1 Chronograph FIM Edition.
The current Formula 1 series was launched in 2012 and represented a more sober, mature design than the original series of 1986 which was seemingly available in every colour of the rainbow.
Pin ItWhile the FIM edition doesn’t differ significantly from other Chronograph models in the Formula 1 range, this is the first ...

While the first watch that comes to mind when you think about a vintage Daytona watch is probably the venerable Rolex model, the Heuer Daytona is one of the more interesting Heuer Chronographs from the 1970s.
Introduced in 1976, the Daytona is in some ways the beginning of the end- one of the last all-new series launched to use the Chronomatic movement, Heuer’s own automatic chronograph calibre. The generation of models that followed the Daytona, such as the Kentucky, Pasadena and second series Montreal began to use Valjoux’s 7750 movement, a calibre ...

Among the new releases at Baselworld 2013, TAG Heuer has quietly updated one of its best-selling global models- the Carrera Calibre 16 Tachymeter Chronograph. The most obvious change to the revised model is the addition of a Day window on the Calendar, which is framed by an angled silver window.
Given that the 2012 Carrera Calibre 16 Day-Date has been updated for 2013 with the Calibre 1887 (losing the day functionality), this new watch is now the sole Day-Date model in the Carrera range.

TAG Heuer’s Baselworld 2013 releases roll on with yet another new Carrera- this time, the Carrera Calibre 8 GMT Chronometer. The new watch is the first new non-Chronograph Carrera that we have seen this year and is a classical design, both in terms of size and looks.
Pin ItIn many ways the new Carrera is a development of the Grand Carrera Calibre 8 GMT, with which it shares several features. We understand that the Grand Carrera range will be more focused on the Chronograph models in the future, making the Carrera ...
