Interesting- thanks for the additional information. I must confess that I hadn't heard about the Vanquish before, although I thought I heard somewhere that the name "Vanquish" was considered for use of what has become the Grand Carrera.
Regards

The Vanquish has been produced end 2005 in a very limited edition in polished titanium of 11 pieces only all sold in Switzerland. The 00/10 was auctioned by Antiquorum as the 1st ever 1/100th of a second mechanical wrist chronograph to the benefit of Geneva Enamels and Watches Museum. It was purchased for 25.000 $. The other 10 (01/10...) were sold by 4 swiss retailers at a price of 15.000 $ each.
In 2006 we launched the Carrera Calibre 360 in a rose gold case in larger quantitities.
We'll probably come back with the Vanquish 360 in 2011 or 2012 as it is one of the timepieces best epitomizing TAG Heuer in terms of utmost combination of technology and design.
