Autavia (TAG Heuer)

One of the first recommendations made by the returning Jack Heuer in 2001 was to relaunch the famous Autavia series as a re-edition. There were two models offered, both powered by the “Calibre 11” movement- a new chronograph movement with an ETA base module and a Dubois-Depraz chronograph module. This Calibre 11 movement is a totally different movement to the Calibre 11 of the 1970s.
The Autavia re-edition was short-lived, although the case design forms the basis for the current Formula 1 series.
