Following the limited geographic release of the new Link Lady last year, TAG Heuer has now rolled out the newest Link model as part of the global range, which we can only assume points to the success of the design to date.
As we told you when we reviewed the new range, we are big fans of the new Link look- a look that is totally different to previous designs. The 2017 models extend the range further, with three new models- but the basics remain the same: a 32mm steel case that TAG Heuer says “lies between round and coussin (cushion), thanks to its 4 subtle corners”.
The Link Lady each- of course- use a new version of the famous Link bracelet, whose origins stretches back to the very first TAG Heuer S/el of 1987. The bracelet is integrated into the case and nicely finished with a combination of brushed and polished surfaces.
Let’s now take a look at the three new 2017 models
2017 Link Lady Blue Dial with Diamonds- WBC1318
Instead of the standard rhodium-coated steel hour-markers, each hourly interval is marked with a square 1.40mm VS diamonds (0.12 ct) with simple “Link” text on the dial. The omission of a Calibre reference on the dial is your first clue that both watches are powered by quartz movements.
2017 Link Pink Mother of Pearl Dial WBC1317
This is a similar style of dial to other watches in the TAG Heuer ladies collection, such as the Aquaracer models announced a few weeks ago and the Carrera Lady shown at Baselworld 2017.
