Welcome to the Vintage Heuer & TAG Heuer Forums

Last Updated on June 22, 2019 by Calibre 11

Welcome to the new Vintage Heuer and TAG Heuer forums at Calibre 11. Some of you may have noticed that a “Forum” label was added to the homepage about 10 days ago as the new forums were launched at http://forums.calibre11.com. While the forums are still in beta phase, the platform is stable enough to now invite everyone to register and join in the discussion!

Calibre 11 TAG Heuer Forum

Why a Calibre 11 Forum?

Aren’t forums dead? Aren’t people now discussing watches on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter? While the latter is certainly true, I still believe that there is a exciting place for forums as part of the mix, if not the sole repository of information as was once the case. The quality of knowledge and community spirit on existing forums and Facebook groups has always been amazingly strong and positive, but what I wanted was to make these available on a modern platform that would work just as well on mobile as it does on desktop….and without being bombarded with ads.

I’m also pleased to say that TAG Heuer itself will be an important part of the forum, with an official account that will post from time-to-time. Don’t expect every question to be answered, or the TAG Heuer team to be online 24/7, but it’s great to welcome TAG Heuer to the forum. TAG Heuer have provided great support over the last 5 years of Calibre 11 and demonstrated a willingness to engage with their collectors online rather than treat the digital channel as an annoyance.

You can read more about why this forum exists here.

Heuer and TAG Heuer Auctions

One of the features of the new forums is the Auctions page, which you can access from the menu. The Auctions page shows interesting Heuer and TAG Heuer auctions from eBay that are worth checking out- they are not an endorsement of the watch, the price or the seller, but a way of highlighting some of the cool watches out there. I know that it’s fashionable to mock eBay as a channel and I agree that it’s not as good as it used to be, given the changes to the terms and conditions. But there are still some gems out there that are worth hunting down, and we’ll be showing you these in a live feed that is constantly updated.

If you want to buy or sell a watch, but don’t want to use eBay, then check out the Marketplace board on the forums where listing is free.

How to Register

The good news is that you may already be registered for the Calibre 11 forums. We are sharing the same login and user management system with the team at Omega Forums , which has emerged in the last couple of years as the place to discuss Omega, Zenith, Rolex, Longines and more. While the two sites are independent, your personal messages, avatar, login details and password are common across the two sites.

And if you haven’t registered, simply click on the image below and come and join us.
